Find out what information, assets, and access we need before we can start properly.
A strong project does not start with guesswork. It starts with the right information.
Before work begins, we may need some or all of the following: business information, service details, written content, logos, brand assets, images, style references, examples, platform access, and technical requirements.
What is required depends on the service, but the principle is the same every time: if the right material is missing, the project cannot start properly.
We may need logo files, brand colours, wording, dimensions, visual direction, and reference examples.
We may need page content, contact details, service descriptions, images, domain or hosting access, and functionality requirements.
We may need account access, budget direction, offer details, audience information, campaign goals, and existing materials.
It helps when content is sent clearly and in one organised batch where possible.
Scattered messages, cropped screenshots, half-finished wording, and missing details create unnecessary back-and-forth. That wastes time and usually delays delivery.
Good input saves time, reduces mistakes, and gives the project a proper foundation. The better prepared you are at the start, the smoother everything tends to go.
