After launch, a website may still need updates, fixes, and ongoing support depending on the service arrangement in place.
A website going live does not mean it will never need attention again.
Most sites still need some level of post-launch support, whether that means updates, corrections, improvements, or maintenance.
Depending on the arrangement, support may include:
minor content updates
bug fixes
layout refinements
replacing images or text
reviewing reported issues
small usability improvements
ongoing website care under a maintenance or retainer plan
review of functional or backend-related issues where relevant
Post-launch support does not automatically include endless redesigns, new features, full rebuilds, or large structural additions unless those form part of the agreement.
Even solid websites may still need adjustments once they are live and being used in the real world.
Post-launch support exists to keep the website usable, updated, and functional. It is there to support the live website, not quietly turn into an entirely new project without discussion.
