Menu or Navigation Not Working Properly

If your navigation is not opening, linking, or responding correctly, here are the likely causes.

HELP-0098 CATEGORY: Troubleshooting

Navigation issues can show up in several ways. The menu may not open, the dropdown may not respond, the links may go nowhere, or the wrong page may open.

If the issue happens on mobile only, the cause is often different from a desktop navigation issue. Mobile menus usually rely more heavily on JavaScript and responsive styling, which makes them more vulnerable to script conflicts, update issues, or caching.

If the menu opens but the links are wrong, then the problem may be outdated URLs, deleted pages, missing redirects, or an old cached navigation version. If the menu does nothing at all, then script or theme behaviour is more likely.

Try another browser and another device. This helps separate a local display issue from a live site-wide problem.

When reporting the issue, say whether it is mobile or desktop, whether the menu is failing to open or linking incorrectly, and which links are affected. A short screen recording is extremely useful here because navigation issues are often more obvious in motion than in a screenshot.

The faster we can see what the menu is actually doing, the faster we can tell whether the problem is structural, cached, or link-related.
